How it All Started

Founded in 2019 by Malcolm Paine, Ocean Electrix brings together more than 20 years of electrical experience with a lifelong passion for sailing and the ocean, including over 30,000 offshore miles.

An electrician by trade and a sailor at heart, Malcolm has spent much of his life on the water, including time with a professional sailing team.

This combination of technical expertise and genuine marine experience means he understands boats, the marine environment, and how electrical systems need to perform when it matters.
